BoardLink – Nonprofit Agencies
BoardLink benefits nonprofits by:
- Minimizing research time to identify and recruit qualified candidates with specific skills;
- Improving access to committed, enthusiastic volunteers with a diverse range of backgrounds and interests; and
- Securing board candidates who are trained and ‘ready to be seated’ at the board table.
The process:
To post a board/committee vacancy on our website, please review the instructions for creating an agency profile. At the conclusion of every Building Blocks for Nonprofit Board Members workshop, completed applications along with resumes will be sent to all organizations with board/committee vacancies. This will allow your organization to review the applications of all workshop attendees and directly recruit those individuals whose skills and interests best match your requirements. We request that you notify us when a position has been filled. Please note while the Partnership will strive to make placements, we cannot guarantee a placement will be made.
Can individuals contact you directly?
Individuals who have attended Building Blocks for Nonprofit Board Members - An Introduction will also be able to search for board/committee vacancy postings on BoardLink. If an individual is interested in a particular vacancy, he/she will be able to indicate interest in the position through an email link. We do require organizations to follow up with all candidates who email an expression of interest within 7 business days of being contacted.
