- Make potted tissue flowers to brighten the rooms of patients and families
- Paint a mural
- Help with home repairs for clients
- Sort food and stock shelves
- Assemble furniture
- Create a reading corner
- Staff a pet adoption outing
- Create pillow cases for therapeutic maternity rice pillows
- Create birthday cards for elders
- Design and decorate donation bins
- Clean up a park
- Take a census of park users or farmer’s market attendees
- Staff a festival
- Sort donations
- Paint a blacktop with hopscotch or four square games
- Conduct a book drive or supply inventory
- Assist with a mailing
- Make blankets for children
- Give your building a spring cleaning
- Touch up paint on walls, doors, fence, etc.
- Clean animal shelter stalls and give homeless pups some love
