TeamWorks is a community-based learning model that will engage HandsOn volunteers in BOTH learning and service opportunities. Past topics have included homelessness, food security, and the value of art. The next TeamWorks program will take place in the Spring of 2011.

TeamWorks volunteers will:

• Volunteer
• Learn about the issues through service, speakers, discussion, and articles
• Reflect on the impact of their service
• Gain a new understanding of different ways local organizations are addressing this issue
• Build a community of empowered and engaged citizens
