The Richmond Jazz Festival at Maymont, presented by Altria,
will kick off its inaugural year this summer by bringing a sense of serenity,
soul, and smooth sounds to the Capital
City. Festival-goers will enjoy world-class music,
wine tastings, chef demonstrations, succulent food, tours and the tranquility
offered by the magnificent landscapes of Maymont.
Festival artists will perform on 2 stages, over 2 days, on Saturday, August 14th and
Sunday, August 15th.
Musical entertainment will be primarily jazz with various genres
peppered throughout the weekend – offering an exciting musical line up! A portion of the proceeds for this event will
benefit the Maymont Foundation, Richmond Jazz Society and Educational learning opportunities.
VOLUNTEERS are needed to help make this event a huge
success. All volunteers will have access
to the Festival for FREE on the day of their shift. Volunteers can come before their shift or
stay to enjoy the Festival after their shift.
